Relationship Status: Single Age: 40 Bloodline: Muggle Physical Description: With deep, chestnut red hair and piercing dark eyes, Olivia looks very much like a hawk on the hunt. As an Inspector with the Hawkhead Police Service, Olivia is built like a runner, thin and tall but quick as a feline. Thankfully, as an inspector, Olivia is allowed to wear plainclothes, and can almost always be found in any variation of long coat, jeans and tight blouse. Personality: Olivia is no-nonsense, doesn't take anyone's word with more than a grain of salt, and has a knack for finding out just what you don't want her to know. Of course, it is that very ability that would have made her one hell of a Ravenclaw... if she was more than a Muggle. She is a bloody good Inspector, though, and even with a little town like Hawkhead, she's found enough to keep her remarkably busy. And not in the bad way, thankfully. No need to worry about bloody murders, or massive corporate embezzlement in the small town. Olivia enjoys the simplicity of life in Hawkhead, even if she does miss the chance at a good mystery. While somewhat social, and genuinely kind and pleasant to meet, Olivia is also a very private person. It comes with the territory of law enforcement, though, and considering her reasons for being in Hawkhead after the last 5 years, it's no surprise she doesn't want to get close to anyone. If you can under her tough skin, you will find a woman who is vulnerable and deeply afraid. Of what, she can't tell you. But there is something...  Personal History: Olivia's life has been pretty normal, at least for the first thirty years of her life. Her younger sister, Gwenog, disappeared after going to some private school that Olivia never cared to notice, and she was blissfully unaware of what she really did. Olivia rose quickly through the ranks of the London Police, completely unaware that while she slept, all the Wizarding World had changed and rippled, she none the wiser. That was, of course, until she was a Sargeant working at the London Tube system in 2005. When the bombing happened, she lost half of her unit, and personally spent most of the subsequent days without rest, with little food, with little water as she tried to assist in pulling out the dead, the dying, and comforting their loved ones. What she didn't expect was that when the smoke cleared, what they would find. Something changed that day. Something in Olivia that she had never really acknowledged, never noticed, seemed to suddenly ache... And she found her hand going to the small vial of white opalescent fluid that was around her neck. She didn't know why, but suddenly, keeping that vial safe seemed vitally important. The next year was a blur as she was promoted to Inspector, then Chief Inspector, and given medal and accolade as the country honored those who had risked their lives for those in the Tube Bombing. As the revalation of the Wizarding World existed began to fade, Olivia was one of the first to ask to be transferred to Hawkhead when news that the "Ministry of Magic" was willing to purchase the property and live normal, muggle lives. And it was Olivia who was brought there to make sure they did just that. So even as she goes about her day, carrying her badge, she doesn't understand just how close she is to everything that is truly going on. | ||||||||||
